I Will Run For Food

Chicago Marathon:Week 5, Day 1 & 2

I had the last three days off from work. That almost never happens, so I spent my time exercising, cooking and cleaning. Here are some of the highlights:

1) Made museli out of oats, bran flakes, dried apricots, almonds, raisins, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds. Delicious!

2) Made orange and mango sherbert. When it’s hot I want to eat ALL the ice cream! Hopefully, this will curb that.

3) Yesterday was my cross training day. I rode 15.5 miles in 1:00:00. Average speed 15.5.

4) This morning I pounded out my mileage on the dreadmill. Summer, why you so hot? I ran 4.01 miles in 45:12. Average pace 11:16.
